The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies offers a wide range of scholarships annually to attract academically qualified students from both within and outside Qatar. These scholarships are awarded based on either merit and academic competition or financial need, ensuring that students from diverse backgrounds have the opportunity to pursue higher education.
Master Scholarship Opportunities

Tamim Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded based on merit and academic excellence, dedicated to exceptional Qatari, Resident, and international students from the Arab world. The scholarship includes full tuition coverage, with international students from outside Qatar also receiving accommodation in institute dormitories, a monthly stipend, and health insurance. -
Sanad Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded based on financial need and are open to Qatari, Residents in Qatar, and international students. The scholarship can cover 10% to 100% of the program’s fees. International students from outside Qatar benefit from full tuition coverage, accommodation, a monthly stipend, and health insurance.
First Phase Scholarship
Granted based on eligibility and specific criteria outlined for this phase.Second Phase Scholarship
Awarded for full-time reading of the prospectus. Requires a GPA of at least 3.5 in the first phase courses.Third Phase Scholarship
Focused on dissertation preparation. Awarded after successfully passing the comprehensive examination.
Required Documents for Doha Institute Graduate Scholarships:
- Copy of national ID (international students: passport; Qatari citizens/residents: Qatari ID card).
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (final year students can submit transcripts to date).
- Academic transcripts (in Arabic or English).
- Updated CV.
- Two recommendation letters.
- Valid English test scores (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBt 59, or DELF B2 score 50) or English proficiency certificate (for graduates from English-speaking universities).
- Personal statement.
